Our parish is hosting "Windows into Heaven: Exploring the Beauty and Purpose of the Mass," a day of learning about the Mass with Dr. Denis McNamara, associate professor and director of the Center for Beauty and Culture at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. Afternoon workshops will explore the nature of beauty and its relationship to the Mass. After the 5:00 Sunday Vigil Mass, enjoy a reception with wine and hors d'oeuvres followed by Dr. McNamara’s keynote presentation on the biblical foundations of Catholic church architecture.
The event is free. Join us for any sessions that interest you. Tickets are required for the reception and keynote presentation in the evening.

- 3:30 p.m.: Panel discussion with Dr. Denis McNamara, Scott Atwood (Director of Liturgy and Music at Christ Our King), Madelaine Beckford (Director of Music and Liturgy at Saint Clare of Assisi), and Scott Powell (Director of Music at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist)
- 5:00 p.m.: Sunday Vigil Mass
- 6:15 p.m.: Reception with wine and hors d'oeuvres (Tickets are required.)
- 6:45 p.m.: "Heaven on Earth: The Bible and Church Architecture" (Tickets are required.)

Dr. Denis McNamara is an associate professor and executive director of the Center for Beauty and Culture at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. He holds a doctorate in architectural history and has authored several books on Catholic church architecture. Dr. McNamara is a frequent presenter in academic and professional settings and is a co-host of the popular "The Liturgy Guys" podcast.
