Saint Clare of Assisi Catholic Church was established on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. Our parish geography encompasses Daniel Island and the Cainhoy peninsula, although our members come from all over the metro Charleston area.
We joyfully live our Christian vocation by building the Kingdom of God through the sacraments, worship and prayer, faith formation, fellowship, and service to others. We are Catholic, the full and oldest embodiment of Christianity, the Church established by Jesus Christ and his Apostles.
And we want to be the parish you have always dreamed of belonging to.

When it was established in 1820, the Diocese of Charleston, under the shepherding care of its first bishop, John England, encompassed both Carolinas and Georgia.
The statewide Diocese of Charleston will celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2020. To prepare, Bishop Guglielmone asks everyone to complete a survey of your thoughts and hopes for the Church. Click here.
