What do I need?
RAFTING
  • Secure footwear with a heel strap is required. Old sneakers, water shoes, or sandals with a rubber sole are suggested.
  • bathing suit, shorts, t-shirt, rash guard, or quick drying clothing is ideal.
  • This time of year, the water is a bit colder. You may wear a poncho or rain jacket to stay dry.
  • Eyeglass strap if you wear glasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Towel
  • A change of clothes and shoes
  • Provided by USNWC:
    • Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
    • Helmet
    • Paddle

LAND SPORTS
  • Closed-toe shoes are required for all land activities.
  • Comfortable, light, and loose-fitting clothing (including shirts, shorts, or pants)
  • Sunscreen
  • Climbers may utilize personal gear at staff discretion.
  • Provided by USNWC:
    • Helmet (bike and climbing)
    • Climbing harness

CAMP THUNDERBIRD
  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Toiletries
  • Shower towel
  • Sweatshirt
  • Comfortable clothes
  • Sneakers & Shower Flip Flops
  • Bug Spray
  • Flashlight
  • Deck of Cards, Guitars, Frisbees, any other items for recreations you wish to bring...

OTHER
  • Bring at least $50 for 3 meals and purchase of any other snacks over the weekend  (we are covering 4 meals)
