Madelaine Beckford, M.M. - Director of Music and Liturgy
A native of Pennsylvania, Madelaine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music (Vocal primary) with a Minor in German from the Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio and a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
As a soloist and choral performer, Madelaine has been featured in classical sacred works by composers Pergolesi, Vivaldi and Buxtehude. Her voice has also graced the operatic stage in such productions as Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, The Merry Widow, and Roméo et Juliette. As a music educator, she has taught general music to children in preschool through middle school, and maintains a private voice and piano studio for children and adults of all ages.
When she isn’t practicing, Madelaine enjoys expressing herself through other creative outlets, which includes baking. As a full time
procrasti-baker, you can tell just how busy she is by how many muffins are in the kitchen, and her choirs have longed enjoyed the fruits of this ill-fated hobby.
