TUITION ELIGIBILITY
Catholic schools exist to promote the Gospel and the Christian way of life lived fully through the Catholic Church. Our schools teach Catholic values, principles, and ethics to best equip students to be intentional disciples of Jesus Christ and upstanding citizens for the rest of their lives.
Area Catholic schools offer two tuition rates: one for active Catholics and another for everyone else. To qualify for the Catholic rate from our parish, the family must meet the following criteria:
1. Be faithful in their observance of the Catholic Faith through participation in Masses every weekend and Holy Days of Obligation.
2. Be registered and active in the parish for a minimum of three months.
3. Support the mission of their parish through ongoing stewardship of time, talent, and treasure. Financial gifts must be given either electronically or by paper check. Cash gifts, while appreciated, do not qualify for this purpose.
The pastor can certify the eligibility of the family only if the family is living up to its responsibilities, that is, by living the Catholic Faith consistently. The parish is unable to state that a family has been faithful when, sadly, they have not been. Further, a family can lose certification during a school year if they have stopped participating in weekend Mass and/or contributing to the mission of the parish.
