Saint Vincent de Paul Society
Serving Christ by Serving Others
Who We Are
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic lay organization dedicated to serving those in need. At Saint Clare of Assisi, our SVdP ministry lives out the Gospel message by offering person-to-person service to our neighbors experiencing hardship, regardless of their background or faith.
Founded on the principles of charity and humility, the Society fosters spiritual growth among its members while addressing the material and spiritual needs of the poor. Our mission echoes the words of our patron, Saint Vincent de Paul: “Charity is infinitely inventive.”
What We Do
- Provide emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, food, and medical needs.
- Visit those in need—at home, in hospitals, and in nursing facilities—to offer prayer and support.
- Coordinate donation drives for essentials like clothing, bedding, and hygiene supplies.
- Collaborate with community partners to provide holistic assistance and long-term solutions.
