About Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is the second of the three Sacraments of Initiation. It perfects our baptism and brings us the graces of the Holy Spirit that were granted to the Apostles on Pentecost Sunday.

Confirmation is a bold “yes” to God’s call. Our goal is to help young people embrace their Catholic identity, encounter Christ personally, and live as active disciples in the Church.
Two-Year Program Overview
Year One – Journal & Formation
Students receive a journal with reflections, activities, and videos to guide their faith journey. This year builds strong spiritual habits and introduces liturgical life at home.

Checkpoint Meetings:
- November 17, 6:30–8:00 PM
- February 3, 6:30–8:00 PM
- March 23, 6:30–8:00 PM
- April 27, 6:30–8:00 PM
Participation in EDGE is encouraged for faith and fellowship. Catholic school students fulfill Year One through theology class/spiritual life and are invited to all EDGE events.
Year Two – Classes, Retreat & Confirmation
Candidates attend 13 Sunday classes from September–April (2nd and 4th Sundays). Minimum attendance:
- Non-Catholic school: 10 of 13 classes
- Catholic school: 7 of 13 classes
All students are encouraged to attend every session to receive the full benefit of formation.
Confirmation Rally: Mandatory event hosted by Bishop Jacques
Confirmation Retreat: Saturday, March 14 | 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM | Coastal Retreat, Isle of Palms | $100
Alternatives available: Jr. High Rally (Fall) or EDGE Retreat (Winter)

- Confirmation Year One: $70 per student
- Confirmation Year One + EDGE: $100 per student
- Confirmation Year Two (Non-Catholic School): $85 per student
- Confirmation Year Two (Catholic School): $45 per student
