PROGRAM INFORMATION

Many students can get "off-schedule" with celebrating their first Sacraments for any number of reasons.  That's where Catch Up on Sacramental Preparation (CUSP) comes in!  CUSP is a year-long faith formation experience for students grades 3-12 who need to "catch up" on celebrating one or more of their first Sacraments - particularly Confession, Communion, and Confirmation.  

However, CUSP is not just for students; CUSP is for the entire family!
Similar to our First Communion program, CUSP focuses on the family as the center of the student's Catholic catechism.  Once a month, parents of all students participating in CUSP will meet with Fernando & T.J. to discuss the month's subject material and answer any questions they may have.  After that, the family will read and work through their monthly assignments together so that the whole family is growing together in their faith in Jesus Christ!  Students will also participate in periodic interviews with Fernando & T.J. to assess how they are progressing in their pedagogy and answer any questions with which they may be struggling.

If there is a change in location, families will be notified ahead of time!
NOTES ABOUT CUSP SCHEDULE:
  • Group leaders will meet with each student and at least one (1) of their parents for CUSP interviews periodically throughout the year.  These discussions will be scheduled individually to accommodate for everyone's schedules!
  • Student schedules will also differ based on the specific Sacraments for which they are preparing.  In general, we will have CUSP students celebrate their first Sacraments together with other student groups celebrating.  (Example:  Younger CUSP students will celebrate their first Confession & Communion with students in First Communion Year Two.)

PRICE

Registration for Catch Up on Sacramental Preparation (CUSP) for the 2024-2025 Faith Formation year costs $85 per student.
