Confirmation Prep (Year One)
Objective
In a world that can bring confusion and distraction, our goal is to direct the minds and hearts of our young people to what is true, good, and beautiful. We want to help our youth see God's presence in their daily lives and to know their identity as Children of God.
We will provide each student in our Year One Pre-Confirmation Prep program a journal that is to be completed at their own pace in the natural setting of their home and family life. This journal will immerse them into the liturgical life of the church and provide plenty of opportunities to deepen their faith and relationship with God.
This year of formation will set up a foundation of good spiritual habits in order to prepare the students for Confirmation Prep (Year 2).
Students enrolled in Catholic School are not required to register

$85 - Includes your personal journal and Sunday EDGE Sessions. (This is a discount of 45% off)
The Journal
The journal will be picked up at the parent meeting on August 28th, 3:00-4:15 p.m.
Our journals are full of activities, prayers, reflection questions, links to video clips and more to help guide students deeper into their faith before they formally begin their Confirmation Preparation.
The journal is completed in the home, sometimes individually and other times with one's parents/family. While the candidate can work at their own pace, it also has four checkpoint dates for each person to meet, in order to follow the journal in conjunction with the liturgical year.
The back of the journal also includes Mass Journal Pages, where each person can write what God is speaking to them through the homily, the readings, and their encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist.
This journal is the ticket into Year 2 of Confirmation Prep.
Involvement in EDGE
Every 6-8th grade student is also invited to participate in all EDGE programming. This will be the best way to form Christ-centered friendships and find support in living their faith. Students will not want to miss our Venture Bible Study and all the exciting social events we've got planned for the year.
