What to Expect:
- Choose a Sponsor
Complete the Sponsor Form located at the bottom of this page. - Life Teen or EDGE
As part of your spiritual formation, all RCIT candidates attend Life Teen (high school) or EDGE (middle school), depending on grade level. - RCIT Classes
In addition to Life Teen or EDGE, candidates will attend five RCIT classes that specifically prepare them to receive the Sacraments.

- Saint Report
Write a one-page report on your chosen Saint name and be prepared to share in class.
Your report should include:- A brief biography of the Saint
- Why this Saint inspires you
- How you can imitate this Saint in your own life
- A brief biography of the Saint
- Letter to Father West
Write a one-page letter answering the following:- Why is receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation important?
- Why do you want to be Confirmed?
- Who or what has positively impacted you during this journey?
- How will you continue living your faith after Confirmation?
- Why is receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation important?
- Confirmation Interview
Toward the end of your preparation, you will meet one-on-one with Fernando Cartagena or Father West to:- Reflect on your spiritual growth
- Ask any questions
- Create a post-Confirmation discipleship plan
- Reflect on your spiritual growth
- Confirmation Rehearsal
