Confirmation Discipleship Groups

MIDDLE SCHOOL (EDGE) CORE TEAM
(2ND & 4TH WEDNESDAYS; 6:30-8:00PM)
Tasks include: meeting every other month to plan. On EDGE Nights help with greeting, serving pizza, help with games & activities, lead discussion groups, parking lot duty, chaperoning events
CONFIRMATION PREP CORE TEAM
Meet with your small group of candidates for bible study/catechesis/prayer groups (8-10 students in your group).
Complete at least one outreach project as a group, and chaperone the Confirmation retreat.
HIGH SCHOOL (LIFE TEEN) CORE TEAM
(SUNDAY NIGHTS; 7:00-8:30PM)
Tasks include: meeting every 2nd Tuesday for planning Life Nights, Life Teen Events, and Fundraisers. Core Team Members take on the mission of leading all teens in our parish closer to Christ. Specific roles in this ministry include: Small Group Leaders, Hospitality, Social Outreach, and Pizza and Praise Discipleship Group.
EXPECTATIONS
Being a Core Member is an important job. We have a lot of fun, but we also take the work that we do very seriously. The following expectations are to help you be more successful in your ministry.
Every Core Member should attend Mass regularly (at least every Sunday).
Core Members are expected to attend ALL meetings and trainings.
Core Members should frequently check their email and GroupMe account and always respond back .
Core members are expected to follow all safe environment policies and be vigilant when it comes to protecting our youth.
Every Core Member is responsible for keeping a calendar, meeting notes, and a binder for all assigned projects.

Planning Meetings for the 2018-2019 calendar:
Life Teen Core Team we will meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month 6:30 - 8:00 pm
EDGE Core Team will meet every other month to plan for EDGE Nights
Discipleship Group Leaders will have three discussion meetings, will be asked to attend a parent
breakfast, and a special parent event at the end of the year.
